Life-Sized Superhero Body Painting/Collage Workshop
Saturday July 10, 2010 1 - 4pm
Saturday July 17, 2010 1-4pm
Reception/Exhibit Sunday July 18, 2010

Instructor: Michele Amendolari
Children will create body portraits using their own figure as a base and create an image of them as a superhero.  Children will decide on the superpowers bestowed by these alternate selves (i.e. wrists that shoot webs of spaghetti, feet that stick to walls etc.) and using collage and painting materials complete images of their alternate selves.  These superhero selves can also be placed in backgrounds of the children's choice i.e. outer space, the mall, inside a banana! or anywhere else our imaginations take us...
Adults and children of all ages welcome.
